Mtb fitness and nutrition
In this session i will provide knowledge and techniques to gain and maintain fitness on the bike.
- Breathing and peddling techniques
- Active Body position
- Bike setup Posture Nutritional information.
Nutrition may sound a little out there but when pushing your body while doing any form of exercise it needs the correct fuel at the right time.
I will provide you with my knowledge on the subject. It will be based around a decent ride of around 2-3 hours and will include some long climbs (not so technical). When we stop for breaks I will answer any questions about nutrition and can write a useful guide of what to eat and when regarding riding for anyone interested afterwords. It may seem like sucking eggs but there is a lot of detail in how to cope with the demands of mtbing when you want to keep pushing. It’s not all hell for leather and power. The meeting point is redmires reservoir 9am on July 9th Fully functional bike and helmet required. Knee and elbow pads recommended but not required.
