New to mountain biking? Learn to ride features with a technique workshop.
The aim of this ride, is to work on riders’ confidence. Many new riders are nervous about speed and will spend most of a ride using their brakes when they are not needed therefore risking low speed stalls, lack of flow and a serious reduction of fun!
Ii will provide feedback on technique, approaching obstacles and body-position, giving instruction and assistance to help the rider work towards improving and removing common faults. With guidance on the day that you can take away and practice.
The session will be a 2.5 hour mountain bike ride of approximately ten miles, taking in both natural and man-made trails.
The ride will run from 1pm. They start with a quick mechanical check of the riders’ bikes and assistance setting up seat height and suspension sag if required. A safe bike is a fun bike.
Please note helmets and gloves MUST be worn and all riders should carry clothing appropriate for the day. Please also bring any water/snacks you feel you could need.
Remember riding a bike is a physical activity.
The cost for this ride is £30. Payment can be made on the day in cash, or prior via, paypal or bank transfer.
